Prayer Requests
The way we submit prayer requests for our state wide prayer has changed. In the past most of you knew to submit your prayer needs to Bob via email. Bob would then in turn circulate that prayer request to everyone who had requested to be on his email list. Now the process will be a little different. Simply click on the prayer request link. Fill in the information as to who you are and for whom you are requesting prayers. That information will then be reviewed daily and will get posted to the prayer page. It will remain posted on the page for one week. If you need to have it reposted please resubmit the prayer request. I might suggest that all Cursillistas make reading the prayer list a part of your every day prayer life.

Emily Yelton, a Sophomore at Clemson Univ. died in the tragic beach house burning in Ocean Isle, NC. on Sunday. Mr. Yelton is a co-worker with my Son in Greenville. Please ask the prayer list members to pray for Jeff & Kim & Family in this time of grief in the terrible loss of their daughter.

My sister Brenda is going to have back surgery on September 19th, Wednesday.
Please pray that the surgeon’s hands are guided and that the surgery will be successful. She has had back problems since she was a teenager and this surgery is really to be 3 surgeries at one time. Three different issues!
Brenda is very anxious about this and is concerned about the outcome.

The plan is to actually do 3 different procedures on her back. Naturally she is nervous. Please as God to guide the hands of her doctor and give peace to her family to know that God is in charge. She knows that because she is a woman of very strong faith.

Request For: Our grandson, Andrew
Prayer Request:
Please pray for our 21-yr-old grandson, Andrew. This morning he had a 2-1/2 hour jaw surgery. It is to correct his sleep apnea by moving both his lower and upper jaws forward to eliminate the tongue from blocking the airway. His jaws will be wired shut for 6 weeks and he will, of course, be on a liquid diet and not able to talk. Please pray that his young bones will mend correctly and that God gives him peace and patience during this ordeal. His parents also need our prayers because they are quite anxious about the whole process. Grant them, O Lord, the strength to give the peaceful encouragement and support that Andrew needs.

Please pray for our cousins(Paul and Ellie Jacobs’) Grandson, Darin Bagheri. He is 3 years old and was knocked down by a neighbor’s dog. He does have a concussion but more than that they found a pea sized tumor on his brain.They are not sure what they are going to do at this time. He will go to a specialist Monday. He is a very beautiful,bright and playful little boy.Hopefully this accident was a blessing to find it at this stage.
Please flood heaven with prayers for his parents, sisters, grandparents and all of the family,who love this special little boy so much.
